Since 2008, Elite Performance Chiropractic (EPC) has been serving the Piedmont Triad area. With locations in both Greensboro and Winston-Salem, our doctors are always ready to consult, advise, and treat various neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.

EPC’s founder, Dr. Jeremy Phillips, played college at Lenoir-Rhyne College and professional football the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe, the St. Louis Rams, and the Atlanta Falcons. Over the years, he suffered several injuries and was often treated conservatively with chiropractic care. While playing professionally, Dr. Phillips was able to seek care from some of the most published chiropractors and physical therapists in the world. This helped him develop the style and approach of chiropractic medicine he wanted to practice in his own clinics.

All the practicing chiropractors at EPC are fully certified in a patented soft tissue technique called Active Release Technique (ART). Chiropractic manipulation, in conjunction with ART, allows our doctors to treat a plethora of different injuries and conditions. Of course, we treat a lot of neck and back conditions, but we also treat numerous conditions such as shoulder impingent, plantar fasciitis, and hip bursitis.

Over the years, EPC has prided themselves in continuing to evolve and stay updated on new treatments and approaches to different injuries and conditions.  In addition to chiropractic medicine and Active Release Technique, we also offer dry needling and spinal decompression.  Dry needling is an acupuncture technique that works to decrease pain levels and restore function in tissues that are affected with trigger points and myofascial adhesions.  Spinal decompression is a programmed traction machine that works to relieve pressure on bulging, herniated, and/or degenerative discs within the neck and lower back.  The negative pressure created within the disc from this machine can rehabilitate chronic disc conditions and assists with decreasing pain levels and restoring function.

Our doctors take a great amount of pride in their patients care. We also communicate and co-manage patients with their primary care and/or their orthopedic physicians that often refer to our clinics. Our goal at EPC is to provide cost-effective, conservative care to our patients for them to return to their desired activities pain free.

Some patients may be reluctant to see a chiropractor for various reasons – misconception about what chiropractors do, fear of chiropractic manipulation or negative stigmata associated with chiropractic care.  These concerns are unfounded – especially with a reputable clinic like EPC.

Chiropractic manipulation is very safe, and like doctors, chiropractors undergo multiple years of rigorous training before treating patients.  Many people misunderstand what chiropractors do. Chiropractic medicine is much more than just “cracking backs.”  While chiropractic manipulation is a part of our practice, as above, we offer other methods of alleviating pain such as ART, spinal decompression, and dry needling.  These techniques often help people avoid, or lessen the need, for pain medication and provide a more holistic approach for treating painful neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.  In addition, we offer physical rehabilitation services to help patients return to their optimal function. And lastly, at EPC, we take pride in ensuring we are caring for patients safely.  We realize that some patients need services that are outside of the scope of chiropractic medicine, and we refer those patients to our orthopedic and spine surgical colleagues throughout the area for treatment.
